Format guide
Alaska address format and form tips
Alaska uses AK. Addresses generally follow street, optional unit information, city, AK, and ZIP. Actual delivery coverage and address standards in remote locations can vary by carrier, so a synthetic sample does not represent service availability.
Postal codes
AK ZIP codes have five digits and may use ZIP+4. Test long place names and postal-code fields, but do not use a sample to validate shipping or account eligibility.
Sales-tax note
Sales-tax note: Alaska has no statewide general sales tax, but local sales taxes are allowed (Tax Foundation 2026-01-01: avg ~1.82%, max ~7.85%). Samples are for format and tax-branch testing only—see the US tax-free state hub.
How to use test data
In development you can use these samples to check field length, line breaks, international characters, and responsive layouts. For payment, identity, logistics, or compliance flows, use official sandbox data from your provider—do not submit these samples to live systems.
